Auspicious Baking Co. has officially opened the doors to its highly anticipated Whitemarsh Island location, welcoming customers for the first time. After months of renovations and unexpected hurdles, the team is finally ready to serve up fresh pastries, breads, and a full breakfast menu in their new space at 104 Bryan Woods Road.
This expansion takes Auspicious beyond its grab-and-go roots, offering a sit-down dining experience alongside a retail section. Unlike the Sandfly location, which recently reopened after renovations, Whitemarsh will feature a full breakfast lineup—including house-made English muffins for eggs Benedict, sourdough-based pancakes and waffles, and more elevated morning staples. Over time, the menu will expand into lunch and brunch, but for now, they’re starting with Friday through Sunday service from 7 AM to 3 PM.
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Between permit delays, last-minute fixes, and a January snowstorm that briefly shut down the Sandfly location, it’s been a long road to opening. But today, they’re finally here—ready to bring something new to the island.
