Bowdie’s Chophouse is bringing premium steaks, craft cocktails, and a wine locker program to Savannah’s Eastern Wharf, set to open in late 2025.
If you’re serious about steak, get ready—Bowdie’s Chophouse is making its way to Savannah later this year. The Michigan-based steakhouse chain, already a favorite in Grand Rapids and Hilton Head, is setting up shop at Eastern Wharf, bringing its signature premium steaks, craft cocktails, and a high-end dining experience to town.
The Savannah location, set for Q4 2025, will offer an intimate setting with just under 100 seats, including a mezzanine for private dining that overlooks the main dining room. Bowdie’s will also introduce a wine locker program, allowing frequent diners to purchase bottles at a discount and store them on-site for future visits. It’s a perk that’s already popular at their other locations and should be a hit for Savannah’s wine crowd.
Bowdie’s built its reputation on top-quality steaks, a strong bourbon selection, and cocktails made the right way. With locations in Michigan and South Carolina, the restaurant has carved out a following for its classic chophouse experience—thick-cut steaks, rich sides, and a menu that sticks to what works. Savannah’s version is expected to deliver the same, with an emphasis on high-end ingredients and a polished but welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant was originally expected to open in fall 2024, but like many new spots, the timeline shifted. Either way, it’s on the way, and with Savannah’s growing fine-dining scene, Bowdie’s should fit right in.
